Garland, Maine Pond Friends at Sunset
Two close friends share a quiet moment during an early October sunset on the shore of 128 acre Garland Pond in the town of Garland, Maine. This is in the center of the village at the small public park situated right next to Route 94 shortly after the road takes a turn on its way toward Corinth. Out of the picture to the left is the dam and the beginning of the Kenduskeag Stream. Image specs: Taken on October 5 at 5:58 PM using Canon EOS 5D Mark II Full Frame Camera with the Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 "L" Series lens at 47mm, f/11 and ISO 200. Because of the wide dynamic range, two images were captured and used. One was at 1/25 second. The second one was at 1/8 second.
