Milky Way at Merrill Cove on Lake Wassookeag
It is not only sunshine that we love about Maine. It is also those crystal clear nights when we can see the stars, constellations, and of course, the Milky Way. This view is from Merrill Cove on Big Lake Wassookeag captured in later August around 11:00 PM on a moonless night (at least at this time). A tripod was required as the exposure was 30 seconds long with a wide open aperture of f2.8.
