Echo Lake or Puffer's Pond next to Route 94
This Dexter, Maine photo was taken at Echo Lake (formally called Puffers Pond) in the month of August early in the morning. The location is on the southwestern end next to Route 94 (Garland Road) and the point where the Fern Road intersects it. This is a favorite spot for those who like to do a little fishing, canoing, or kayaking. There are often ducks and Canadian geese here. Occasionally, you will see a heron.
