Mount Katahdin July Sunset
This view is of the Abol Stream inlet at the base of Mount Katahdin. The inlet wraps around to the right where the stream enters. It primarily is in Baxter State Park. To the right is part of Abol Bridge Campground. This is a spectacular camping location at the base of Mount Katahdin, Maine's highest mountain. It is right next to the Golden Road and the West Branch of the Penobscot River.
