Thick Fog at Sunrise on Lake Wassookeag with Blue Sky
The blue sky just began to show through the golden morning mist in this image taken at Lake Wassookeag in Dexter, Maine on November 3. For photographers, the blue sky with clouds like these are highly desired to add interest and more contrast in the sky. The lower level of the camera allows the scene above to be reflected better on the surface of the water. Hopefully, in the future, I will be able to capture this again when someone is fishing or there are some loons close-by. Two images were taken. Specs: November 3 at 8:10 AM using Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Camera with Canon 24-105mm f/4 "L" Series lens at 24mm. Shutter speeds were 1/200 and 1/640 seconds at f/22, ISO 100.
