Peaceful Morning at Lake Wassookeag in Dexter
This was a very calm and peaceful morning on Little Lake Wassookeag in Dexter, Maine shortly after sunrise on November 1st. This was the view from the public beach and landing area looking toward what used to be called the “floating island” (seen on the right side in the distance). This is a good example of the varied types of landscapes to be found in the central Maine Highlands.
