Gorgeous Autumn Colors on a Hill in Dexter
The harvested corn field in shadow set against the hill in the distance that is set ablaze by a sun that is low on the horizon to the west creates a spectacular contrast in this landscape that was captured next to Route 94 in Dexter, Maine. This is part of what is called the Central Maine Highlands, and area with many hills and valleys that shows its diversity and color through each season.
