Garland Pond Dam & Kenduskeag Stream
This shows the Garland, Maine dam at Garland Pond with the waterfall that is the result. This is also the northern most point where the Kenduskeag Stream begins it's gradual southeastern cascade down to the Penobscot River in Bangor, Maine. Even though this beauty of a spot is right next to Route 94 which goes to Corinth, it is out-of-view because of a stand of trees and it being down from an embankment/ledge area. Image specs: Taken on August 8 at 4:12 PM using Canon EOS 5D Mark II Full Frame Camera with Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 "L" Series lens at 24mm, f/11 and ISO 200. Because of the wide dynamic range, three photos were taken. Shutter speeds were 1/15, 1/60 and 1/4 seconds.
