Mount Katahdin July Sunset
This was a gorgeous sunset while viewing the majestic Mount Katahdin in Northern Maine from the Abol Bridge on the Golden Road. Katahdin is in Baxter State Park. The park covers 209,644 acres in the northern part of the state and is mostly wilderness woodland. The Golden Road was an old logging road owned by the paper companies who used it as a way to transport logs to the mills.
